If you regularly shop online then you could be missing out on literally hundreds of pounds in potential savings if you do not take advantage of discount codes for Argos or any other leading online retailers.
For the past three or four years, discount codes have been taking the online shopping world by storm. Nowadays it seems that there isn’t a shop online that will allow you at least 10% off just by clicking a few times and copying and pasting a code into that oh so magical box.
Voucher code websites are popping up left, right and centre and you can hardly type in the name of a store on Google these days without advertisements at the top for promo codes and deals for that store. The problem is – with so many different promo code websites to choose from – how do you know which ones are offering you the best deal?
In short, you don’t. And there is no real way of telling unless you want to do some serious legwork. Fortunately, we have done this legwork and have been reviewing the various discount code websites for well over a year now. This means that we can see which ones are reputable, and which are just a flash in the pan and will highly likely give you nothing but a 404 error in a few week’ time.
Most promo code related searches are dominated by sites like Voucher Codes and Groupon but these websites are very popular now and on several different occasions have not quite offered us the best possible deal. Instead we find that websites like this one offer far more Argos discount codes and deals – and they are displayed in such a way that it’s easy to identify and to use them.
We put the Voucher Slug website to the test by comparing it with the other leading websites. For this example we used Argos, so that we were searching for Argos discount codes and this is what we came up with.
As you can see in the above screenshot, voucherslug.co.uk clearly displays the store logo so that you can tell that you’re looking for a discount code for the correct store – in this case, Argos. There is also a small live picture of the argos.co.uk website at the top left hand side, so you can tell that the page has been updated at some point recently.
Another thing worth noting is that fact that all of the discount codes are specific. There is no “Save 10% at Argos” spammy generic nonsense that a lot of the leading voucher code websites have just so that you click the link and they can’t plant their cookies and make money on everything you buy whether you save money or not. All of the Argos discount deals on voucher slug are well defined, and detailed so that you can immediately see that you can save 10% on homewares, 20% on toys etc.
In addition to this, the terms of the discount are often set out within the title of the discount code itself. For example “10% off vacuum cleaners over 100 at ARGOS”. This means that it is absolutely clear that you have to spend at least 100 in order to benefit from the 10% discount. Many other websites will not provide you with such information, which means that the promo code will be absolutely useless to you if you plan on spending less than 100.
Not only is the design tidy, but the information about the deals and promo codes is honest and accurate, and the deals seem to be a lot better too, which are the main reasons that we highly recommend the voucher slug for any form of Argos discount codes.
